Addictions Care Center and Affiliates provide in-house treatment and safe, supportive housing for men, women, and women with children, from the earliest stages of recovery through preparation for a successful return to work, school, and family life.

Priority placement is given to pregnant I.V. drug users, pregnant women, I.V. drug users, and parents who have lost or are at risk of losing custody of their children due to substance use.

Stabilization Services

Clients receive individualized support from medical and clinical staff as they begin their recovery journey. In addition to individual and group counseling, clients may explore:

  • Desire and motivation for medication management
  • Reported cravings and desire for discontinuance of use
  • Ability to cope with family and friends
  • Willingness to manage physical and mental health symptoms
  • Interest in seeking out peers for social support
  • Job readiness and career, educational motivation

 

Rehabilitation Services

Services are client-centered and tailored to each individual’s strengths, needs, and challenges. In addition to individual and group counseling, clients may explore:

  • Medication management
  • Management of cravings
  • Substance use education and adoption of recovery skills
  • Continued management of physical and mental health symptoms
  • Social support networks and how to connect
  • Job readiness and career, educational opportunities

 

Reintegration Services

NYS OASAS certified

Residents live in a healthy, supportive environment where activities are client-centered and focused on individual needs. Clients are encouraged to participate in outpatient programming and, in collaboration with outpatient counselors, may explore:

  • Additional case management to enhance life skills and/or parenting skills
  • Attainment of employment and/or educational opportunities
  • Expansion of sober social and recreational activities

 

Community Residences

ACCA also offers community-based halfway house settings that support continued recovery, daily structure, and family stability. These programs provide safe housing and a supportive environment for individuals working to maintain sobriety and rebuild their lives.

Red Door Residence

The Red Door Community Residence is a 13-bed halfway house located in Hudson, NY for adult men. It serves primarily men from Columbia and Greene Counties who are struggling with substance use issues.

Riverside Residence

The Riverside Recovery Residence is a 12-bed halfway house located in Catskill, NY for adult women and pre-school children. Riverside serves primarily women from Columbia and Greene Counties who are struggling with substance use issues.

 

Transitional Services

ACCA’s Reilly House provides safe, supervised transitional housing for men in the later stages of recovery. The Reilly House is a 12-bedroom residence offering extended care while residents prepare for independent housing, dramatically increasing long-term success in solidifying healthy habits.

With support from counseling, education, and employment training programs, residents maintain an alcohol- and drug-free lifestyle in a healthy environment. Life-skills training is emphasized so that residents have the ability and confidence to secure and maintain employment and continue on the path of recovery within the community. Residents receive assistance connecting to and obtaining community services, finding permanent housing and family reunification services.
